Library Updates

  1. Banned Books Week is an annual celebration celebrating our freedom to read. Libraries, bookstores, publishers, authors, journalists, and more come together in our shared support of the freedom to choose what you want to read and to allow diverse voices to be heard through the written word.

Here at the Durango Public Library, we’ve curated a list of banned or challenged books for you to explore.  You can log into your account and request any of the titles on the list for curbside pick-up.  We are also using short staff-produced videos and photos to highlight a few titles on our Facebook page .
