- November 10 - COVID-19 Outbreak Identified at City of Durango 911 Communications Center - San Juan Basin Public Health and the City of Durango have identified a COVID-19 outbreak at the 911 Communications Center in Durango. SJBPH and City staff took immediate action to limit the further spread of disease. Read the news release (PDF).
- October 22 - The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) will launch its statewide COVID-19 exposure notification system, previously announced by Governor Jared Polis in partnership with Google and Apple. Coloradans will receive a notice on their Android and Apple phones with instructions about how to opt-in.
- October 1 - The Durango Public Library building will open with limited hours beginning October 13. The building will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Curbside Pick-Up will continue with new hours, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Facilities staff will thoroughly clean and disinfect the building and equipment per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after closing to prepare for the following day.
