Durango, CO: Motorists may experience short delays on Escalante Drive behind Home Depot during a road-resurfacing project scheduled for Oct. 31 - Nov. 9.
Elam Construction will be performing milling and paving operations for the city on Escalante from River Road to the frontage road on the north side of Home Depot. Motorists may encounter short delays entering or exiting Escalante Drive and/or temporary closures of driveways or access points to Escalante Drive during daytime hours– especially during paving operations. Affected businesses include Home Depot, Sunnyside Farms Mark and Four Corners Cancer Center. Residences affected include Boulders, Rivers Edge, Villa Escalante, Riverwalk, River Oaks Drive, River Oaks Court, and Villa Escalante Court.

Crews will be working from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be flaggers as well as signs and barricades in place to direct traffic during the construction project. We encourage residents to take alternate routes if possible. Please be on the watch for our construction crews and equipment and thank you in advance for your patience during the project.
For more Information contact Elam Construction's project manager at (970) 640-0209, or the city's project manager, Barney Bunker, at (970) 764-7528.
