Durango, CO: Due to limited parking space at the Horse Gulch trailhead, the city is asking trail users to park on neighborhood streets to the West of East Eight Avenue.
The adjacent parking lots on East Third Street are privately owned and provide parking for the neighboring businesses.
We ask that trail users please be respectful of the private businesses surrounding the Horse Gulch trailhead.
Use of the trail system has increased in the past month due to the wonderful Fall weather and the opening of the six new Durango Mesa Park demonstration trails that can be accessed through the Horse Gulch trailhead.
