Durango, CO: The City of Durango will be closing the north section of Rotary Park and a short section of the Animas River Trail adjacent to the park on Tuesday Oct. 10 and Wednesday Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Forestry Division from the Parks & Recreation Department will be removing recently fallen trees from the river’s edge. A short detour will be provided for trail users through the park. Cyclists are encouraged to dismount from their bike and walk through the park.
