Durango, CO: On Wednesday Oct. 4, the Department of Revenue Natural Medicine Division will host a Colorado Natural Medicine Public Forum in Durango City Council chambers at 949 East Second Ave. from 5 – 6:30 p.m.
The forum will discuss provide an overview and update on implementation of Proposition 122: Access to Natural Psychedelic Substance and Senate Bill (SB) 23-290: Natural Medicine Regulation and Legalization.
Proposition 122 was approved by voters in November 2022, and aims to create a regulatory framework under which persons 21 and older can receive “natural medicine services provided by a licensed "healing center.”
Senate Bill 23-290 was passed by the Colorado State senate in April 2023, and it amends regulatory framework for natural medicine and natural medicine product. The act seeks to define what a licensed facilitator of natural medicine is and how to issue licensing.
