Development Services

The Development Services Division is responsible for the review of private and public development projects, administers the Comprehensive Plan (PDF) and the Land Use Development Code, and develops area and topical plans. Building and Planning are both a part of this division.

Administrative services are provided to:

• City Council
• Design Review Board
• Historic Preservation Board
• LUDC Board of Appeals
• Planning Commission
• Creative Economy Commission
• Durango Renewal Partnership (URA)
• Others, as needed
