Tour the Roosa Avenue Connect Project

Wednesday, August 21 from 5:15-6:00 pm at Schneider Park on Roosa Avenue

The public is invited to learn about and visit the site of the Roosa Avenue Connect Project on Wednesday, August 21 from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. The project will address safety for all road users, including motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. The tour will depart from Schneider Park, and city staff and project engineers will be on hand to update the public about the project.

The Rossa Avenue Connect was identified as a high priority in the 2012 Multimodal Transportation Plan. The project will include a 10-foot shared-use path along the east side of Roosa Avenue from 9th Street to El Paso Street and will also upgrade curb ramps to make the sidewalks ADA-compliant.
